Glen Wayne Palmer, 79, Veedersburg, a retired farmer, died today in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was a member of New Liberty Chapel Church. Born Sept. 5, 1898, near Kingman, he was the son of Elbert and Clara Sackmire Palmer. He attended schools at Yeddo and Kingman. He was married March 10, 1921 to Mabel Furr. She died in 1970. He was married July 7, 1971 to Mattie Arvin. She survives. Other survivors are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Earl (Betty0 Haga of Covington and Mrs. Russell (Lois) Clouser of Pomona California and 10 cousins. Services will be at 2 pm. Wednesday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with the Rev. John Foxworthy officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cem. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-8 Tuesday.

  Glen Wayne Palmer, 79, of Veedersburg Route 2, died Monday, March 13, 1978 at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville.
  Born Sept. 5, 1898, near Kingman, he was the son of Elbert and Clara Backmire Palmer. He was married March 10, 1921, to Mable Furr, who died July 27, 1970. He was married July 7, 1971 to Mattie Palmer, who survives.
  Mr. Palmer was a graduate of Yeddo and Kingman schools.
  Survivors also include two stepdaughters, Mrs. Earl (Betty) Haga of Covington Route 3 and Mrs. Russell (Lois) Clouse of Pomona, Calif.; and 10 cousins.
  He was preceded in death by a brother.
  Services were Wednesday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro, the Rev. John Foxworthy officiating. Burial was held in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. – thanks to S
