PALIN, Ozark - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Ozark Palin, 103 of Ben Hur Nursing Home and formerly of Newtown died at 2:50 pm Tuesday. She retired from teaching after 34 years. She graduated from Newtown HS and received a bachelor of science degree from PU in 1916. Members: Newtown Community Church and NCCW Study Club. Born at Danville, IL Nov 24, 1890 to Fred C. and Mary Margaret Williams Palin. Survivors include niece Mary Jean Howard of Newtown and nephew John F. "Jack" Palin of Rosswell, GA both who she helped raise. Other survivors include another niece/nephew. She was preceded by two sisters and a brother. Funeral scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday in Cramer-Shoemaker- Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Campbell officiating. Burial in Newtown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to service. Memorials may be made to Newtown Community Church.
