PALIN, Huldah

Miss Huldah Palin, 83, Waynetown, died at 5 p.m. Sunday, February 7, of a heart attack at her home.

  She was born October 19, 1898 in Newtown, the daughter of Fred and Mary Margaret Williams Palin. She was head of the adjustment department of L. S. Ayres of Indianapolis for more than 50 years, retiring and moving to Waynetown in 1964. She had also been a physical education teacher in Newtown. She graduated from Indiana State University.

  She was a 50-year member of L. S. Ayres Club and attended Newtown Community Church and Waynetown Christian Church.
  Survivors include two sisters, Ozark Palin of Newtown and Agatha Palin of Crawfordsville; two nephews, William H. Palin of Dallas, Texas and John S. Palin of Indianapolis; two nieces, Mrs. August King of Indianapolis and Mrs. William Howard of Newtown; several great nieces and great nephews. A brother, Carl, preceded her in death.

  Services were today (Wednesday) at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown. Rev. Dorman Winger officiated and burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
