Funeral services for Clifford C. “Rowdy” Ottinger Jr., 61, formerly of Attica, who had been residing on Route 2, Kingman, who died Sunday, Feb. 10, at 12:35 a.m., were held at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, Thursday Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Max Paddock officiating.
    Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica, Monday, Feb. 18, with military graveside rites by members of the V.F.W. and American Legion posts of Attica who also served as pallbearers.  They were:  Elvin Rater, Herbert Rice, Jack Wurtsbaugh, Wayne Rich, Donald Jenkins, and Richard Taylor. - s

Clifford Charles (Rowdy) Ottinger Jr., 61, Route 2, Kingman, died Sunday, Feb. 10, at 12:35 a.m., after suddenly having a heart attack while driving along 234, one-half mile east of Kingman.  He was born in Attica March 25, 1923, the son of Clifford Parrish Ottinger Sr. and Elsie O. Richey.  He spent most of his life in the Attica and Williamsport area before moving to Kingman one year ago.  He was a graduate of Attica High School and attended Michigan State University.  He had the E-Z Go golf franchise for Indiana and Illinois from 1959 to 1973.  He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy.  He was an avid sports fan.  Surviving are one son, Mike Thomas, Veedersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Allen (Marjorie) Goltra, Stuart, Fla., and Mrs. John (Norma) Fewry, Modesto, Calif.; one brother, Billy Lee Ottinger, Phoenix, Ariz., and one granddaughter, Lisa Thomas, Veedersburg.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with the Rev. Max Paddock officiating.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica with military graveside services by the V.F.W. Post No. 3318 of Attica.  Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. -  thanks to “S”
