Robert F. Osborne, 66, RR 2, Covington, died at 2:23 a.m. Thursday, December 1, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Illinois.

A former resident of Illinois and Kentucky, he had lived in the Covington area since 1950. He retired from General Electric in Danville in 1971. He was born July 24, 1917, in West Lebanon, the son of George and Hattie Ross Osborne, On September 26, 1940 he married Kathleen Perry, who survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Dale Osborne of RR 2, Kingman, Larry Joe Osborne of RR 2, Covington, and Marion Lynn Osborne of Danville; three brothers, Walter Osborne of Wellington, Kentucky, James Osborne of Mariba, Kentucky, and Russell Osborne of Wellington, Illinois.

Services were conducted Saturday at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Greg Simms officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery. – thanks to S
