George Osborne Jr. of Danville, Illinois, age 67, died Saturday afternoon, April 17, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville. He was born in Covington, June 8, 1914, the son of George and Iva Nixon Osborne. June 8, 1973, he married Dale Lockhart, who survives. Osborne had been a member of Laborers Local 624 for 25 years, retiring in 1974.
Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Mrs. William Stratton of Phoenix, Arizona, and Geraldine Duckworth of Paris, Illinois; an aunt, Golda Radar of Three Rivers, Michigan; six step grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Barrick and Son Funeral Home in Danville with Rev. John Eppler officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park at Danville. – thanks so much to S
