COVINGTON — Mrs. Ruth Hall Osborn, age 76, of Danville, Ill., mother of Harold C. Hall of Covington, died at 2:08 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, in Lake View Memorial Hospital, Danville, where she had been a patient three days. She had been bedfast three years and in ill health five years. Mrs. Osborn was born Sept. 30, 1891, in Tangier, the daughter of Jess and Sadie Hobson Clark. Her schooling was near Tangier and at Georgetown, Ill. She was married in Georgetown in 1909 to Stanley A. Hall, who preceded her in death in 1920. Surviving from this marriage are — three sons, Harold C. Hall of Covington, Lloyd E. Hall and Stanley Hall, both of Danville. She was married in 1926 to Henry T. Scoggins, who preceded her in death in 1943. Surviving from this marriage is a daughter, Mrs. Annabelle Lou Walker of Indianapolis. She was married in Georgetown in 1956 to Warren G. Osborn, who preceded her in death in December of 1967. Also surviving are — one brother, Cecil Clark of Almond, N.Y.; two half-brothers, William Clark of Jonesboro, Ark., and Claude Moody of DesPlaines, Ill.; one step-brother, Lester Moody of Danville; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Pape Memorial Funeral Home. C.M. Read officiated and burial was in the Georgetown Cemetery. --waw
