OSBORN, Fortha Bell - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Fortha Belle Osborn of Cates, age 77, died Sunday evening, July 10, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born at Cates, July 4, 1906, the daughter of John Samuel and Leffie Belle Booe Osborn. She attended Cates Community Church and before retiring was employed for several years with the Windbreaker Jacket Factory in Danville, Illinois.

Survivors include a sister, Mildred LaPerle of Attica; three brothers, Glen of Veedersburg, Donald of Punta Gouda, Florida, and Kenneth of Cates, with whom she had lived; and several nieces and nephews, including Pamela Fudge of Kingman.   Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Phillip Huey officiating. Burial was in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. – thanks so much to S
