Mrs. Charles (Bertha Inez) Osborn, 86, a former resident of Veedersburg died at a New Carlisle, Indiana nursing home last Friday. She had been a patient there for the past 4 years. Most of her life was spent in South Bend where she was associated with the library. While in Veedersburg, Mr. Osborn was associated with the Veedersburg Lumber Company. He preceded Mrs. Osborn in 1950. Funeral services were in New Carlisle on Monday. The body was returned to the Rockfield Cemetery at Veedersburg for burial on Tuesday. – kbz
