Isaac N. Osborn was born Jan 15, 1835 in Fountain County, Indiana and died in Cameron, MO Dec 27, 1920 of a complication of diseases aged 85 years 11 months 12 days. He went to California in the gold rush in 1849. While there he enlisted in Co E 5th Reg Calif Volunteers in Sept 1861 and served until Nov 1, 1865 when he was discharged. After he was discharged he went to Indiana and married Margaret Emmarine Clelland Dec 17, 1865. He came to Missouri in September 1875 and settled on the old homestead and lived there except the last few years which were spent in Cameron. To this union was born 5 children: Mrs. Etta Dice; BF; WH; OD and OW Osborn. There are also 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Shadler of Covington, Ind and one brother, John Osborn of Santa Rosa, Calif all of whom survive him except Margaret Emmarine who died Oct 21, 1906 after which he married Mrs. Ann Richardson Dec 24, 1909 who was present at his death also Mrs. Etta Dice, BF and OD.  WH was in Florida and OW in California. The deceased professed faith in Christ and united with the Baptist Church years ago. He was a faithful member, a devoted Christian and died in the triumphs of a living faith. The departed has a host of friends and he will be sadly missed by all. The funeral was conducted by Rev. HT Hooper at the Wamsley Church on Dec 29 1920 after which the remains were carefully laid to rest in the cemetery there.
