George W. Orahood, 90 years old, retired farmer and life resident of Fountain county, died here Saturday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ada Roberts. He had been ill since Tuesday when he suffered a stroke of paralysis. Born Dec. 19 1854 near Covington, the son of Eli and Mary Ann Hack Orahood he married Maggie Fox, who preceded him in death. Besides the daughter at whose home he died, the survivors include a son, Harold Orahood of Kingman, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Centennial United Brethren church south of here, with burial at the Centennial cemetery. The Rev. John McHargue officiating.  The Spencer mortuary of Kingman had charge.   ---transcribed by kbz
