Paul E. Olive, 71, of 12 E. Fifth, was found dead at his home about 9 a.m. yesterday (Nov. 8, 1966). Coroner's office today listed death due from natural causes. A native of Decatur, Mr. Olive was born Nov. 7, 1895, the son of Oscar and Katherine Lewis Olive. A retired automobile mechanic, Mr. Olive was a veteran of World War I and held membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include a son and a daughter; a brother, Ray Olive of St. Louis, Mo.; four sisters, Mrs. Loretta Crowder, Mrs. Grace Staab, Mrs. William B. Cherry, all of Decatur, and Mrs. Amber Rupert of Danville. He was preceded in death by a brother. The body is at Berhalter Funeral Home where visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. today. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Leo Bates will officiate, with burial in Songer Cemetery. --waw
