Pine Village—Bessie P. Ogborn, 93, 605 S. Bell, Kokomo, formerly of Pine Village, died at 1:05 a.m. Friday, April 14, 1989, in Americana Healthcare Center in Kokomo. She had been ill five years.
  She was born Dec. 8, 1895 in Somerset, Ky. She moved to Pine Village from Somerset in 1913 and attended school in Somerset. She was married Sept. 1, 1015 in Pine Village to Willie Ogborn, who preceded her in death in 1966.
  She had been employed in the poultry building and at Owen Hall at Purdue University, retiring in 1965.
  She was a member of Pine Village Free Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She also was an honorary member of Brookside Free Methodist Church in Kokomo and Missionary Club.
  Surviving are two sons, Chester, Portland, Ind., and Billy, Young America; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Malcolm, in 1967; her parents, two brothers and one sister.
  Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday in Hahn Funeral Home Chapel, Oxford, with the Rev. Duane Summitt officiating. Burial was in Pine Village Cemetery.- thanks to S
