ATTICA — Yvonne Anna “Eva” Odore, 96, 204 W. Monroe St., Attica, died at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2001 in Woodland Manor Nursing Center, Attica. She was born April 2, 1905 in Grandecomb, France, the daughter of Pierre and Anna Zelone Philippe. She married Frank Odore Dec. 25, 1924 in Clinton. He preceded in death March 14, 1994. She attended school in both France and the United States. She had resided in Clinton before moving to Attica in 1936. Survivors include: two sons, Emile F. (Rose) Odore and Paul P (Norma E.) Odore, both of Attica; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Odette Oakley and Marie Jeannie Dumas, along with a grandson, Michael Odore. Gravesite services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Riverside Cemetery, Attica, with the Rev. Don Williams officiating. Maus Funeral Home, Attica, was in charge of arrangements. – jlr
