Odeneal, Ruby Runyan - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington—Ruby C. Odeneal, 71, Covington, died at 7:46 p.m. Monday, March 6, 1989, at Covington Manor Health Care Center.

  She was born April 25, 1917 in Vermillion county, the daughter of Leland and Grace Pritchard Runyan. She was married Dec. 6, 1936 to Leoius Odeneal, who preceded her in death April 20, 1979.

  She was a resident of Covington most of her life. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and Covington Senior Citizens.

  Surviving are nine children, Carl Dean, Bartonsville, Ill.; Mrs. Rolland (Shirley) Woolwine, Kingman; Mrs. Delores June Bedwell, El Dorado, Ill.; Larry and Bill, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Marilyn Johnson and Mrs. Ike (Carol) Biddle, both of Terre Haute, and David and Mrs. Bill (Kathy) Beavers, both of Danville, Ill.; a sister, Betty McClure, Peoria, Ill.; a brother, Charles Runyan, Seminole, Fla.; 27 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, a brother, and four grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (Friday) at the Assembly of God Church in Covington with the Rev. Edgar Allen officiating. Burial will be in Lower Mound Cemetery. Friends may call an hour before services at the church.
