The home of Mr. and Mrs. Clint Odell in this city is doubly stricken, one child passing away at 2 o’clock on Wednesday and another being in such a critical condition that death is expected. Both are pneumonia cases. James David, who died was sick but three days. He was born in Lafayette on July 25, 1914 and consequently was aged 4 years 2 months 9 days. He was a bright little fellow and will be sadly missed in the home. The boy who is ill is Walter J. Odell and he is 16 years of age. Following instructions from the health board funeral services will be held at the cemetery or in the neighborhood of the home on Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev UG Hoover officiating.
