OAKLEY, Freda Shell - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Evansville - Freeda Oakley, 83, died at 1:20 p.m. April 15, 1992 at Bethel Manor, Evansville. She was born April 16, 1908, the daughter of George and Dora SHell. She was married to Clarence Oakley. He preceded in death in 1973. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary #111. Surviving are a son, Robert Oakley, Morrison, Colo; a sister, Catherine Jones, Dayton, Ohio; two granddaughters, Colleen Oakley and Debbie Oakley, Houston, Texas and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were at 9 a.m. April 20 at Ziemer Funeral Home North, Evansville with Father Robert Temme officiating. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. at Bonebrake Cemetery, Veedersburg. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
