MYERS - Walley

Source: Waynetown Hornet Saturday, January 28, 1888

Walley Myers, of Crawfordsville, who was deputy sheriff under old Alex Harper, has come to grief at last. He was arrested last week in St. Louis on the charge of being connected with a gang of horse thieves and brought to Crawfordsville where he was incarcerated. He was a fit companion for old Harper, who refused us admission to the Henning hanging. There is not a meaner villain in Montgomery County than Walley Myers, and if justice is done the trifling whelp he will either be hanged, or sent to the penitentiary for life.—Newport Hoosier State – thanks so much to S&E
