Waveland—Roy S. Myers, 94, Waveland, died Monday, March 13, 1989 in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville.
He was born Dec. 19, 1894, in Fountain County, the son of David S. and Ella Etter Myers. He was married April 13, 1921 at Crawfordsville to Stella I. Smith, who survives.
He was a graduate of Wallace High School. He was a farmer and had also worked at Sommer Metalcraft Corp.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Ray D., Waveland, and Robert E., Brazil; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandchild and a great grandchild.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home with the Rev. Norman Wallace officiating. Burial was in Alamo Cemetery. – thanks to S
