MYERS, Rachel Dotson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Rachel J. Myers of Attica, age 88, died Tuesday morning, March 24, in Williamsport Community Hospital. She was born near Marshall, May 16, 1892, the daughter of Joseph and Julia Barker Dotson. March 7, 1910, she married Lonnie D. Myers, who died May 20, 1963. Mrs. Myers was a member of Attica Presbyterian Church and Thursday afternoon Club.

  Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Harris, Mrs. Mary Cleveland and Mrs. Maxine Batchelor, all of Attica, and Mrs. Dorothy Knight of Brownsburg; a brother, Arthur V. Dotson of Attica; seven grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

  Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Kenneth Burris officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. – thanks to S
