Veedersburg, Ind -- Herman L. Myers, 86 of Veedersburg Rt 1 died at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday May 28, 1977 at the home of a daughter on Veedersburg Rural Route.  Mr. Myers was a member of the Scotts Prairie Church.  He was born July 19, 1890 in Fountain County to Byron and Elizabeth Sevier Myers. On March 16, 1916 in Paxton, he was married to Hazel Purnell. She died in September 1967.  Survivors include two sons, Herman J. of Winter Haven, Fla; and Robert E. of Waveland; 3 daughters, Mrs. Ernest(Elinor) Marietta of Clinton; Mrs Dean (Susan) Cronkhite of Crawfordsville and Mrs. James Martha Holmes of Veedersburg; a brother, Earl of Veedersburg 23 grandchildren and 37 greats.  Three sons preceded him in death.  Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg with the Rev. Stanley Hicks officiating.  Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery at Veedersburg.  Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
