Wallace - Mrs. Grayce Myers, 81 of Rt. 1, Kingman who with her husband had been prominent farmers in the Wallace area died at 6:40 p.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. She had resided at the Ben Hur Nursing Home four years. She was a member of Wallace Phanuel Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, Jackson Township Home Ec Club and Fountain County Chorus. She was a graduate of Wallace HS and Terre Haute Normal College. She was born at Hillsboro Aug 14, 1896, daughter of William and Flora Sanders Edwards. She married Leslie G. Myers April 3, 1917 at Wallace. He died in 1973. Surviving are a son, Max of Rt 1, Kingman; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Katy) Starnes of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Revs. John Stacy and Karl Korbel officiating. Burial in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. Wallace, Ind.—Mrs. Grayce Myers, 81, of near Wallace on Kingman Route 1, died at 6:40 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 26, 1977) at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. She had been a patient for some time.
  She and her husband had farmed in the Wallace community for many years.
  She graduated from Wallace High in 1913 and from Indiana State University.
  She was a member of the Phanuel Lutheran Church of Wallace and Ladies Aid, Jackson Township Home Economics Club and Fountain County Chorus.
  Born Aug. 14, 1896, in Hillsboro, she was the daughter of William and Flora Sanders Edwards. She was married on April 3, 1917, to Leslie G. Myers of Wallace, who died in October of 1973.
  Survivors include a son, Max of Kingman Route 1; a daughter, Mrs. Carol (Katie) Starnes of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by a brother.-s
