Franklin Myers, an aged and highly respected citizen of Fountain County, died at his home Tuesday, March 17, of heart disease.

Franklin Myers, an old citizen of Fountain County, and living about three miles west of Alamo, died suddenly Tuesday of heart disease. He was about sixty years of age. He was possessed of a large body of land and other property and was in all respects a good citizen and neighbor.

Franklin Myers, an old and highly respected citizen living three miles east of Alamo in Fountain County died suddenly Tuesday evening of heart disease induced by lagrippe. The deceased was 60 years of age and highly esteemed by the community in general. – kbz
