MYERS, Eli David - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Eli D. Myers, 88, a lifetime resident of Fountain county, died at the home of his son, Everett Myers, at Casey, Illinois, Saturday morning, January 23, 1937.   He had been at the home of his son since last April. Death was due to a complication of ailments.  The funeral service was held from the Phanuel Lutheran church east of Wallace, Monday morning at 11 o'clock.  The pastor, the Rev. W. C. Donaldson, was in charge of the service and Misses Kathleen Krout and Anna Allen sang, accompanied by Miss Ipama RuDisill. The pall bearers were:  Milland Newkirk, Carl Peffley, Carol Myers, Joe Jones, Grover Dowden, Byron Allen and Omer Livengood. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery.
