MYERS, Columbus Lane

Columbus L. Myers Bloomingdale, Indiana -- Columbus Lane Myers, 94, of Bloomingdale Route 1, died at 1:50 p.m. Sautrday (June 13, 1970) at the Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton. Born December 26, 1875, in Parke County, he was the son of Lewis and rebecca Lawson Myers. He married Jennie Allen July 10, 1899 and she survives. The Myers lived most of their 70 married years in Grange Corner in Sugar Creek Township. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. James (Ercie) Wildman of Mecca; Mrs. Ruby Livengood of Montezuma; Mrs. Lex (Marie) Bowman of Wallace and Mrs. Leotis (Bernice) Smith of Indianapolis; one son, Vance of Bloomingdale Rt 1, 21 granchildren and about 60 greats. He was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers, two sons, three grandsons Spec 4 Leslie Von Bowman who died in Vietnam Nov 1, 1968 and two other grandchildren in infancy - one great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Tudor Funeral Home in Rockville.
