Hillsboro, Indiana - Mrs. Anna J. MYERS, 70, died at 9 a.m. Monday May 5, 1958 at her home in Hillsboro following an illness of six weeks. Born near Wallace Oct 16, 1887, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Livingston Cory, and was married September 1903 to Alva Myers who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leona Newkirk of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Jennie McElwee of Covington, Mrs. Mary Frazier of New Richmond and Mrs. Daily Todd of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren and seven greats. A son, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Myers attended the Hillsboro Christian Church and was a member of Dorcas Temple, Pythian Sisters Lodge. The body is at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro where services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The Rev. John Servies of Crawfordsville conducted the funeral service of Mrs. Anna Myers, 70 who died at her home in Hillsboro held at Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro Wednesday afternoon. Organ music was by Mrs. Mary Louise Newman and the following served as pall bearers and flowers; Bloomer Frazier, David Todd, Carl Todd, John Cory, Lyron Ford and Larue Brooks. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.

Mrs. Anna J. Myers, 70 died at 9:00 a.m. Monday May 5 at her home in Hillsboro following an illness of six weeks. She was born near Wallace, Oct 16, 1887, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Livingston Cory, Ind Sept 1903 she married Alva Myers who survives. Mrs. Myers attended the Hillsboro Christian Church and was a member of Dorcas Temple, Pythian Sisters of Hillsboro. Surviving besides the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Leona Newkirk of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Reba Peffley of Lowell, Ind; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie McElwee of Covington; Mrs. Mary Frazier of New Richmond and Mrs. Daily Todd of Crawfordsville; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  An infant son, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Funeral services was held at the Cruml;ey Funeral Home in Hillsboro at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. John Servies of Crawfordsville officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. – kbz
