COVINGTON--Willard "Bill" MyCroft, 60, of Rt. 1 Covington (Stringtown), died at 4:08 p.m. Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill., where he had been a patient since being stricken ill while at work Monday morning. Mr. MyCroft had been employed by Harrison Steel Casting Corp. at Attica for 27 years. Recently he had been in the cleaning room as a sand blaster. He was a life resident of Wabash Township, Fountain County, born May 23, 1907, to James and Hulda (Nelson) MyCroft. He was married April 15, 1930, to Marguerite Stoup. Surviving are his mother and widow, both of Rt. 1 Covington; three daughters, Mrs. Esther Henderson of Kankakee, Ill., Mrs. Virginia Humphries of Attica and Miss Wanda MyCroft at home; seven brothers, Dean of Rt. 3 Covington; Vanis of Rt. 1 Covington; Elroy of West Lebanon, Rudolph of LaMarida, Calif., and Hershel, Earl and Luther, all of Covington; two sisters, Mrs. Norma Sammons of Wichita Falls, Tex., and Wilma Hay of Covington; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home here with Rev. Stephen High officiating. Friends may pay respects at the funeral home this afternoon and evening.  --typed by Walt W

A life resident of Wabash Township, Fountain County, he was born May 23, 1907, the son of James and Hulda Nelson
MyCroft.  He was married April 15, 1930 to Marguerite Stoup.
He had been employed at Harrison Steel Castings Company for 27 years, recently in the cleaning room as a sandblaster.
