Mrs. Hulda M. Mycroft, 94, RR 1, Covington, died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, November 27, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Illinois.
Born May 21, 1889 in Wabash Township in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Christopher and Josephine Johnson Nelson. On October 27, 1904 she married James Henry Mycroft, who died June 18, 1967.
She was a life long resident of Wabash Township and was a member of the former Snoddy’s UB Church and was attending the Stringtown Church of God.
Services were conducted Wednesday at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Jack Lowder officiating. Burial was in Coal Creek Cemetery, south of Covington.
Survivors include six sons, Herschel, Earl, Vanis, and Luther Mycroft, all of Covington, and Rudolph of Yucca Valley, California; two daughters, Mrs. Burns Sammons of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Mrs. Gene Hay of Covington; 33 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
