Funeral services for James H. Murray, age 77, a farmer and life resident of the Covington community, who died at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, at his home, 1215 Third St., were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, Covington. The Rev. Glenn Ray officiated and burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery, southwest of Covington. Mr. Murray, who had been ill three years, was born Aug. 29, 1888, in Fountain County, the son of Frank and Mary E. Collins Murray. He was married June 26, 1946, to Clara B. Noble, who survives. He also had been employed by the Indiana State Highway Department for six years. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one son, Arthur Hodge of Danville, Ill.; a niece and a nephew. He was preceded in death by one sister. --typed by Walt W
