Covington, Ind. (CNS)—Mrs. Bessie May Murray, 81, a life resident of Covington, died at 9 a.m. today (Nov. 18, 1966) at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville. She had been a patient there three days. She was born Jan. 14, 1885 at Covington, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. She was married to Charles A. Murray and he preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Dr. Charles Alvin Murray of Orlando, Fla., with whom she resided, 1956-64; a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Moore of Covington; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jess Smith. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Royal Neighbors of America. The body was taken to the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home and will be taken to the daughter's residence, 614 Fifth, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday. Services will be held at 2 p.m. (EST) Sunday at the Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Ray officating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
