MELLOTT, Ind. (CNS)--Raymond Murdock, 35, of Paducah, Ky., and his daughter, Shellie, 13, died Saturday (June 6, 1970) in an automobile accident in Kentucky. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rice of Mellott. Mrs. Murdock and three other daughters also were passengers. Mrs. Murdock is hospitalized and in critical condition and the three girls have slight injuries. When the accident happened, the Murdocks were en route to their home in Paducah, Ky., after visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Murdock of Murray, Ky. Mr. Murdock was born May 15, 1935, near Wingate, Ind. He was married to Shirley Sirla and operated a print shop in Paducah. Survivors include his parents and widow; three daughters, Nacy, 9, Brenda, 7, and Ray Ann, 11 months; a brother, Don Murdock of Murray, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Fletcher of Evansville; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Nellie Murdock of Wingate; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rice of Mellott.
