MURDOCK, Cecil - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Cecil B. Murdock of RR 2, Williamsport, age 76, died Saturday morning, January 29, in Williamsport Community Hospital. He was born at Cayuga, May 4, 1906, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murdock. July 24, 1925, he married Ethel Browning, who survives.

  Also surviving are four daughters, Evelyn Bush of Covington, Mary Beedle of Attica, Dorothy Williams of Watseka, Illinois, and Louella Coffey of Rossville, Illinois; three sons, John of Danville, Illinois, Robert of Watseka and William of Nashville, Tennessee; two sisters, Nora Richardson and Anna Lee Bickett, both of Georgetown, Illinois; a brother, Howard of Georgetown; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown with Rev. J. Wade officiating. Burial was in Georgetown Cemetery. – thanks to S
