MUNSON, Charles John - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Death came to Charles John Munson Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the family residence, 126 State Street, West Lafayette after a period of invalidism of 23 years due to a paralytic stroke suffered.  Mr. Munson had only been bedfast for two weeks despite his affliction.  He was born in Sweden, March 18, 1852 and came to this country with his parents one year after birth.  He was married April 5, 1881 to Miss Amanda Erickson.  Three children were born to this union, one son dying in infancy and one daughter dying Feb 14, 1917.  Mrs. Goldie Denelsback is the only survive.  A number of relatives of the deceased live at Attica.  The funeral will be held from the residence Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock, Rev. George W. Switzer officiating.  Interment will be made in Springvale cemetery. – kbz
