MOSS, Ruby May - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Ruby Mae Moss of Danville, Illinois, age 76, died Thursday morning, July 29, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville. She was born in Covington, July 28, 1906, the daughter of Lewis F. and Celia Ford Albea. February 1, 1930, she married John Orville Moss, who died August 9, 1977. Mrs. Moss was formerly an employee of Merle Sears Box Factory in Danville.

  Survivors include two grandchildren, Cassie Moss and Shawn Moss of Freeport, Louisiana; two nieces, Marsha Cranmore and Vicki Ingram of Danville, Illinois; a daughter-in-law, Jill DeWald of Freeport; and a sister-in-law, Helen Albea of Danville.

  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Pape Memorial Home in Danville with Rev. Herb D. Smith officiating. Burial was in Walnut Corner Cemetery northeast of Danville. – thanks to S
