HILLSBORO — Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Etta Mortimore, age 70, who died of a heart attack at 8 a.m. Thursday, March 5, at her home, 1 1/2 miles southeast of here, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. The Rev. Ross Kirk of Hillsboro officiated and burial was in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Mortimore was born Feb. 14, 1894 in Frankfort, Ky., the daughter of Isaac and Ruth Snow Kelsey. She attended schools near Frankfort. Her first marriage was to Earl Wilson of Crawfordsville in 1917. On March 12, 1936 she married Charles Mortimore at Danville, Ill., and he survives. She had lived at her farm home 17 years and in the Hillsboro and Crawfordsville communities the past 45 years. She was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are: one son, Cecil of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Hegg of Covington and Mrs. Ruth Hegg of Danville, Ill.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ruby Anno of Attica and Mrs. Ruth Crowder of Mellott; one stepson, Floyd Mortimore of Mellott; the stepmother, Mrs. Bertha Kelsey of Crawfordsville; three sisters, Mrs. Lenora Billingsley and Mrs. Alberta Billingsley of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Opal Barker of Marysville, Ky.; three brothers, Theodore Kelsey of Washington, D. C., Sherman Kelsey of Corbin, Ky., and Burl Kelsey of New York City; and 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. --typed by Walt W
