ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) – Charles Morse, 83, of W. Jackson, died at 10:53 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 12, 1968) at Lake View Memorial Hospital in Danville. He had undergone surgery and had been ill since Oct. 1. Born April 11, 1885, in Star City, Kan., he was the son of Daniel and Mariah Bever Morse. He came to Fountain and Warren counties when he was young and had resided at Attica since 1967. He retired from farming in 1958. He was married Dec. 1, 1908, in Riverside, Ind., to Leatha Pearl Troxel, who died July 26, 1967. Survivors include a son, Louis of West Lebanon; a sister, Mrs. Lydia Dickson of Indianapolis, and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the DeSutter Funeral Home. The Rev. Eldon Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery at Williamsport. The body is at the funeral home.   – jlr
