MORRIS, Nelson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Nelson Morris, probably the oldest native of this county at the time of his death, died Saturday at his home in New Richmond. He was born in Covington May 18, 1829 when that city was a mere river village, boasting of its recently title of county seat. The funeral was held Tuesday forenoon and the body brought to Salem cemetery in Davis Township for burial. Mr. Morris is survived by a sister and three children.
