Attica – Minnie Wilimenia “Serie” Mornout, 99, formerly of 404 Brady St died at 4:25 a.m. Monday Oct 12 in St. Anthony Health Care Center.  She lived at Heritage Health Care before moving to Sta. Anthony.  Born at Rt 1, Attica, Nov 30, 1892, she lived in Fountain County and Crawfordsville and for 22 years in Attica. She married John Mornout Jan 20, 1912 in Attica.  He died April 26, 1962.  Mrs. Mornout was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Attica.  Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Orville (Mary Elizabeth) Talbott of Attica.

Mornout, Minnie W. – Visitation at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with Rosary service there at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday.  Funeral service at St. Francis Xavier Church Wednesday 11 a.m.  Father Duane Craycraft officiating. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Attica. Surviving, a grandson, Dennis Talbott; 3 great grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Five brothers, two sisters, a grandson, 2 great grandchildren preceded in death.
