VEEDERSBURG (CNS) – Mrs. June Mornout, 80 died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 27, 1975) at Community Hospital at Williamsport. Mrs. Mornout had been a patient at Meadow Heights Nursing Home, Williamsport, for the past year. She was born in Fountain County on June 13, 1895, to Frank and Effie Keeling Warrick. She was first married to Homer Smith who died in 1935 and was later married to Frank Mornout, who also preceded her in death. Survivors are two sons, Claude Smith of Indianapolis, Wayne Smith of Baltimore, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Iris Pitzer of Veedersburg Route 3; two sisters, Mrs. Jesse Merrill of Veedersburg and Mrs. Sidnea Wilson of Chillicothe, Mo. , six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Mrs. Mornout also was preceded in death by a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg, with the Rev. Glen Youngblood officiating. Burial will be at Bonebrake Cemetery, Veedersburg. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday. – jlr
