MORGAN, Dora Straw - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman, Ind.—Mrs. Dora A. Morgan, 80, of Kingman, formerly of Calumet City, Ill., died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (May 15, 1974) at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

  She had resided at the Canterbury Convalescent Centre in Terre Haute since August of 1972 and later moved to a home of a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Frieda) McMahon in Kingman.

  Born Sept. 5, 1893, in Edgar County, Ill., she was the daughter of Wilbur F. and Mary D. Edington Straw. On Dec. 12, 1915, in Edgar County, she was married to George O. Morgan, who died Jan. 21, 1967.

  Mrs. Morgan was a charter member of the first Church of the Nazarene in St. Bernice. (Pape Funeral Home shows burial in Chrisman, Illinois)
