Attica – Mrs. Alma E. Morgan Snyder, 78, former resident of Rt 1, Attica died at 10:10 a.m. Sunday in Evansville State Hospital. Mrs. Snyder was born in Fountain County and had lived most of her life in Davis Township.  She was educated at Antioch School.  In 1913 she was married to Ashley Snyder who died in 1970.  Mrs. Snyder attended the Free Methodist and Bethel Churches.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Westfall of Indianapolis and Mrs. Carl (Betty) Latta of Los Angeles, Calif; one son, Fred Snyder of Lafayette; two brothers, Robert Morgan of Attica and Clifford Morgan of Rt 2, Attica; and a sister, Mrs. Don (Louise) Morris of Phoenix, Arizona. – kbz

Source: Same – Snyder, Mrs. Alma E – Friends will be received at Dale Maus Funeral Home, Attica from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Service at 2 p.m. Thursday in Maus Chapel, the Rev. Vernon A. Lallement officiating. Interment Green Bay Cemetery.  Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  One son, George preceded her in death. – kbz
