MOREHOUSE, Eva
THREE GREAT ladies and wonderful genealogists saved many old obituaries and put them into a binder – they let me use them for the GenWeb page – thanks so much to Fauniel Hershberger; Claudine Yerkes and Betty Dotson (my adopted 2nd mom – loved that lady) – these were mostly mid 1940s deaths but no dates or newspapers are noted.
Eva Morehouse, aged 62 who had operated a restaurant in Veedersburg the past 37 years died at 10:50 o’clock Friday morning at her home in Veedersburg. She had been ill several months and recently underwent treatment at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn. She was a life-long resident of Veedersburg being the daughter of Frank and Frances Clickner Morehouse. Surviving are a son, Gordon and a brother Harry both of Veedersburg.
Note: Have found that most they collected are from the Kingman Star as is this one
