Waynetown, Ind. (CNS) --- Raymond M. Moore, 69, a life resident of Fountain County and Wayne Township, died at 10:40 p.m. yesterday (June 21, 1966) in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. Mr. Moore had been in failing health for four years and hospitalised since April, 1966. Born Dec. 30, 1896 in Fountain County, he was the son of James and Mary Myer Moore. He was married April 20, 1935 to the former Della Lucas of Greenfield. She died July 14, 1964. Mr. Moore had farmed most of his adult life and had worked for the Miller Meat Curing plant near Waynetown. He was a member of the United Church of Christ and Royal Order of Moose. Surviving are a step-daughter, Mrs. Bernice Jennings of Attica and a sister, Mrs. Lily Elmore of Alamo, Ind. He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. The body is at the Servies Funeral Home here where visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Waynetown - Raymond M. Moore, 69, of near Waynetown died at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville where he had been a patient since April. He had been in failing health four years. Mr. Moore farmed most of his life. He also was employed by the CL Miller Meat Processing firm for several years. He was a member of the United Church of Christ and Moose Lodge. Mr. Moore resided in Fountain County most o fhis life and was educated in Fountain County Schools. He moved to Wayne Township in 1961. Born Dec 30, 1896 in Fountain County he was a son of James and Mary Myer Moore. He was married April 20, 1935 to Della Lucas. They were married at Greenfield. Mrs. Moore died July 14, 1964. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lily Elmore of Alamo; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Bernice Jennings of Attica; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Sadie Moore of Rt 1, Hillsboro and Mrs. Zella Moore of Attica and two brothers-in-law, Harry Moore of Attica and Thomas E. Lucas of Danville, Ill. He was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence and three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Billsland; Mrs. Lavona McClure and Mrs. Sadie Bruner. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Servies Funeral Home here with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.
