KINGMAN — Jessica Lea Moore, 21,
Kingman, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001 in Protection, Kan., due to
injuries from an automobile accident. She was born March 19, 1980 in Danville,
Ill., the daughter of Clyde L. and Lisa K. Van Dame Moore. She graduated from
Covington High School in 1998. She was featured in Who's Who all four years of
high school, she went to France in 1996 with her French class. She also
attended two years at the University of Southern Indiana. She was employed as a
sales clerk in Kansas. She was a member of, and very active at St. Joseph
Catholic Church in Covington and was a 10-year member of Fountain County 4-H.
Survivors include: her parents, Clyde (Mary) Moore, Marshall and Lisa (David)
Hampton, Darlington; a brother, Brian Moore, Darlington; her paternal
grandparents, Alfred and June Moore, Kingman; maternal grandparents Sandy
Freeman, Wilmington, Ill. and Orville Van Dame, Attica; and her fiance, David
A. Brown, Protection, Kan. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday in St.
Joseph Catholic Church, Covington, with Fathers Cline and Kinneman officiating.
Burial was in Indian Creek Cemetery, Montgomery County. Dickerson Funeral Home,
Veedersburg, was in charge of arrangements. –
