MOORE, Delia J. Lucas - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Waynetown-- Mrs. Delia J. Moore, 64 of Rt. 2 died at 4:45 p. m. Tuesday at her home. She had been in failing health the past year. Born Feb 15, 1900 in Indiana, she was a daughter of L. and Carolyn Ormal Lucas. She married Raymond M. Moore April 28 1935. They were married at Greenfield. She was educated in Brown County where she was a member of the Methodist Church. She was a member of the Moose Lodge at Attica. Mr. and Mrs. Moore resided at Danville Ill before moving tot his area in 1942. Survivors include the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Jennings of Attica; a half-sister, Mrs. Zella Moore of Attica; two half brothers, George W. Lucas of Attica and Thomas E. Lucas of Danville, Ill; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a half sister, Mrs. Anna Skinner. Funeral services will be conducted at Servies Funeral Home here at 11 a. m. Friday with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p. m. Wednesday.
