MOFFITT, Edna Wilbur - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington, Ind. - Mrs. Edna Moffitt, 76, of Covington Route 3, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday (March 11, 1971) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. She had been a patient nine days and had been ill 10 days. Born Aug 21, 1894, in Ridge Farm, Ill., she was the daughter of David G. and Anna Lynch Wilbur. She was married Aug 4, 1915, to Jesse Moffitt who survives. Mrs. Moffitt was a house wife and a member of the Veedersburg United Methodist Church. She was a former resident of Veedersburg, moving to Covington Route 3 in 1916. Survivors also include a sister, Mrs. Carrie Boatman of Covington> a brother, Everett Wilbur of Veedersburg Route 4, three nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. EST Sunday at Hegg Funeral Home, with the Rev. Vernon Souder officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery.
