Mrs. Ruby F. Mitton, 75, of 203 W. Monroe, Attica, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 1974 at Home Hospital in Lafayette. Born Jan. 26, 1899, in Warren County, she was the daughter of James and Minnie Guinn Jernagan. On Oct. 17, 1917, in Williamsport, she was married to David Elmer Mitton, who died Oct. 29. 1970. A life resident of Warren County, she attended the Warren County schools and was a homemaker. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Minnie Jernagan of Williamsport; four sons, Edward of Attica, Harold of Veedersburg Louis of Klondike and George of Lafayette; four daughters, Mrs. Darwin (Bernice) Shamp of Otterbein, Mrs. George (Vivian) Atwood of Lafayette, Mrs. Dale (Fern) Wilson of Attica and Mrs. James (Carolyn) Lively of Indianapolis; three brothers, Cecil Jernagan of Attica, Warren Jernagan of Williamsport and James Jernagan of Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Loy (Celia) Beck of Williamsport; 29 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Services were held in the Maus Chapel. Burial was in Highland Cemetery at Williamspot. - typed by ww

Attica, Ind.—Mrs. Ruby F. Mitton, 75, of 203 W. Monroe, Attica, died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 1, 1974) at Home Hospital in Lafayette.
Born Jan. 26, 1899, in Warren County, she was the daughter of James and Minnie Guinn Jernagan. On Oct. 17, 1917, in Williamsport, she was married to David Elmer Mitton, who died Oct. 29, 1970.
