Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

KRAMER, Ind. (CNS) --- David Elmer Mitton, 75, of Kramer, died at 5:50 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 29, 1970) at Community Hospital in Williamsport. He had been a patient at the hospital four days and ill five years. Born Aug. 6, 1895, at Van Wert, Ohio, he was the son of George and Sarah Mitton. He married Ruby Jernagan Oct. 17, 1917, at Williamsport. A resident of Kramer for 53 years, he had been employed in the sand mill at Harrison Steel Castings Co. at Attica for 22 years. He had worked at the Poston-Herron Brick Co. for 25 years. Survivors include his widow; four sons, Edward of Attica, Harold of Veedersburg, Louis of Lafayette and George of Indianapolis; four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Shamp of Otterbein, Mrs. Vivian Atwood of Lafayette, Mrs. Fern Wilson of Attica and Mrs. Carolyn Lively of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Beason of Attica Route 4; 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Saturday at the DeSutter Funeral Home in Williamsport, with the Rev. Harry Randolph officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery at Williamsport. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 6 p. m. Friday.   --typed by Walt W
