Wallace, Ind - Veda M. Mitchell, 79, of Wallace, Ind. passed away Monday morning, April 1, 1991 at her residence. She was born June 4, 1911 in Parke County, Ind, the daughter of Sidney and Elizabeth Myers Nickell. She married Paul Mitchell June 24, 1930 in Sullivan, Ind. He preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Darwin Mitchell of Bloomfield Hills, Mich and one grandson, Charles of Bloomfield.

Funeral services 2 p.m. EST Thursday at Wolf Creek Church near Wallace; officiating: Rev. Lester Niles. Burial: Wolf Creek Cemetery, near Wallace. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown, Ind. Eastern Star Rites will be given at 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
