MITCHELL, Jane Fowler - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Newtown March 13 – Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Jane Fowler Mitchell, 71, wife of Annis Mitchell and former resident here which occurred at a Lakeview Michigan hospital Tuesday. Death was due to pneumonia, which developed after she had suffered a fractured hip in a fall a week ago. Born near Wingate, she spent many years in this vicinity, leaving here about 20 years ago.  Surviving are her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Leonore Frost, Mrs. Doris Stevens, Mrs. Alma Stevens and Mrs. Lea Taylor, all of Lakeview, and Mrs. Halcie Barker, Wingate and a son, John of Lakeview.
